Description: Two critical aspects of any comprehensive retirement income plan include making informed decisions on Social Security and Medicare. This course will first review how Social Security benefits are calculated, how to incorporate those benefits into a larger retirement income plan and cover various advanced strategies to help maximize Social Security income. The course will then discuss the different parts of Medicare; what Medicare covers, and what it doesn’t; when and how to enroll in Medicare; what Medicare costs and strategies to manage and cover those costs in retirement.
