Director of Talent Engagement

Chel Bernard continues to drive a unified student and professional engagement effort through mentorship, education, and professional development. As the Director of Next Gen Talent & Engagement, she is responsible for the development and implementation of programs and practices that will effectively expand and strengthen the community of successful black financial advisors.

Throughout her career, Chel has gained extensive experience in sales, partnership development, diversity recruitment, and DEI initiatives and events. She brings the ability to shape and deliver positive, cultural change through her passion for fostering relationships between financial firms and the universities they recruit from.

Prior to joining AAAA, Chel served as the Strategic Program Director of DEI at Dalton Education. As the pioneer of the company’s DEI initiatives, Chel created CFP scholarship programs and aided in the implementation of SIE courses at various colleges and universities, including HBCUs. During her 9-year tenure, she has helped hundreds of financial advisors gain their CFP® Certification, and increased diversity enrollment by over 30%.

Chel’s goal is to empower individuals to feel more secure about their financial future and inspire shared success within the financial services industry.
